Fees and Insurance

  • Bright Seeds Counseling operates as a private-pay practice. Our current session fees are as follows:

    • Initial Consultation / Intake Session: $120

    • Individual Counseling Session (50 minutes): $100

    • Family or Group Session: $120

Payment is due at the time of service and can be completed securely through our client portal.

  • At this time, Bright Seeds Counseling does not accept health insurance and operates as a private-pay practice. This allows us to provide more personalized care without the restrictions, diagnostic requirements, or session limitations often imposed by insurance companies.

For clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement, we can provide a superbill that you may submit directly to your insurance provider. Reimbursement rates vary depending on your plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance company to learn more about your out-of-network mental health benefits.

  • We believe counseling should be accessible to those who need it. Bright Seeds Counseling offers a limited number of sliding scale appointments based on financial need and availability.

If cost is a barrier to receiving services, please feel free to reach out to discuss possible options. We are happy to explore ways to support you in accessing the care you need.

  • Under federal law, clients who are paying privately have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of services.

If you would like more information about your estimate, have questions about fees, payment, or scheduling, please feel free to contact Bright Seeds Counseling for additional information.

Ashley, counselor at Bright Seeds Counseling

Meet Ashley

Hi, I’m Ashley – a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Texas State University.

I believe healing begins in safe, supportive spaces where emotions can be seen, named, and understood. Using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, I explore the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while fostering hope, strength, and possibility. I work with each individual to build on their existing strengths, helping them grow in confidence, resilience, and emotional awareness.

My experience spans early childhood through young adulthood. I began as a school-based counselor for children ages 3–13, supporting students through trauma, grief, family transitions, bullying, and everyday school stress, helping them develop coping skills they could carry into all areas of life. I also spent six years as a college and career counselor, guiding teens and young adults in career exploration, college admissions, workforce readiness, and personal growth. These experiences shape my work today—whether in the playroom with a child, with a teen preparing for the future, or supporting adults navigating life’s challenges, my goal is to help every client feel seen, empowered, and supported as they build resilience and reach their fullest potential.
